🔍 Analysis: The Quest for the Rural Vote

Mahendra Kumar Raya (NC) is fighting to retain his seat after a successful 2022 campaign where he secured 25,448 votes. However, Surendra Kumar Yadav, who trailed by about 4,000 votes last time, has been working aggressively in the Ramgopalpur and Samsi belts. The real wildcard is Manoj Kumar Sah of the Janamat Party. In 2022, Sah secured over 10,000 votes; with the party's recent growth in Madhesh, he is positioned to potentially flip the result if the NC and PSP-N split the traditional vote bank.
